PEPPER CHICKEN

PEPPER CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS:

Chicken - 1 kg

Onion finely chopped - 3

Tomato paste - 2

Cumin Seeds - 2 tsp

Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp

Black Pepper seeds - 2 tsp

Ginger paste - 1 tsp

Garlic paste - 1 tsp

Coriander powder - 2 tsp

Red Chili powder - 3 tsp

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

Garam masala powder - 1 tsp

Coriander Leaves - 3 tbsp

Salt - To taste

Oil - 4 tbsp



HOW TO COOK:
  • Wash and cut the chicken into small pieces.
  • In a dry pan fry cumin seeds, mustard seeds, black pepper seeds and grind it and keep aside. 
  • Heat oil in a pan and add onions and ginger garlic paste fry till golden brown in color.
  • Then add chicken and red chili powder,coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala and stir fry approx 5 minutes. 
  • Now add the grounded masala and cook for few minutes more. 
  • Then add 1 cup water and cook for 5 minutes on low heat.  
  • Now garnish with coriander leaves and serve with roti or parathe.
